Work Program

The Roanoke Valley-Alleghany Regional Commission and Roanoke Valley Area Metropolitan Planning Organization have a full time staff of about ten people. We undertake a variety of local and regional projects each year. Working with commissioners, local officials and others, we develop our work programs each Spring. Our fiscal year runs from July through June. Transportation related projects are also listed in separate documents as required by federal and state regulations.  Work Programs are subject to amendments during the year.
