The Roanoke Valley Transportation Planning Organization (RVTPO) received a request from the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) to amend the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) to include a new increased cost estimate for an ungrouped project UPC 121433 #SMART20 Rte 419 & 220 Diverging Diamond Garvee Debt Service. This project is a Garvee Debt Service, which is considered a bank account for the infrastructure project for the Route 419 and 220 Diverging Diamond intersection project. The Roanoke Valley Transportation Planning Organization (RVTPO) is seeking public input on an amendment for the FFY24-27 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). Please visit https://engage.rvarc.org/2045-rvtp to participate. Comments will be accepted until Wednesday, January 21, 2026. The public hearings will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 313 Luck Avenue SW, Roanoke, VA.
