RIDE Solutions Commuter Assistance Program and Transportation Demand Management Strategic Plan FY2025-Fy2029
In 2024, staff initiated development of an objective-driven, performance-based planning framework to identify Transportation Demand Management (TDM) strategies and programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency of the Roanoke Valley’s transportation system through expanded transportation options. The recently completed RIDE Solutions Strategic Plan for 2025–2029 sets a vision for RVARC’s TDM strategic efforts and aligns with the goals and objectives approved by the RVARC Board in July 2024. The strategic plan was guided by a TDM Working Group, comprised of members the RVARC tecnical committee and RVARC board.
