The Director of the Roanoke Valley Collective Response has overall operational and strategic oversight of the Roanoke Valley Collective Response to the substance use disorder crisis in the Roanoke Valley-Alleghany region. In this role, the Director will work to implement the recommendations in the 2020 Blueprint for Action, provide oversight and management for implementation of the Peer Recovery Network via a $1.4 million Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration Grant, and work with RVARC localities to identify and response to issues surrounding recovery and reintegration in the region, including recovery housing, transportation, workforce, and other community needs.
