The survey is now closed.

The Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a four-year schedule of all federally-funded and regionally-significant transportation projects to be implemented in the RVTPO region. It functions like a budget and projects can only be funded if they are consistent with the goals of Vision 2040. RVTPO is updating the TIP and would like to know what you think of the proposed projects.

Review the complete TIP here: Transportation Improvement Program 2021-2024.

The draft TIP is a scanned pdf and the links aren’t clickable. Not all links have urls spelled out and when they do you have to type them into the web browser because you can’t copy and paste text from a scanned pdf.

That shouldn’t even be necessary if there were more information in the survey so that there wasn’t a need to look at supplemental documents. Every time you refer to a supplemental document, you are saying “You probably don’t understand this” without more information. Obviously you do not care about getting any public comment or you would not make it so hard for the public to provide meaningful input. Asking for public feedback insults the public, especially anyone that cares enought to try.

I went through the process of downloading the draft TIP and reading some additional documents and finally decided this was not worth it.
