Virginia General Assembly

The Virginia Legislative Information System provides additional information on proposed legislation such as the bill’s patron, committee actions, and Adobe Acrobat files of each bill. Click on the bill or resolution for additional information.

Information on committee activities can be found on the House of Delegates X page. Additional information about the current session is available on the Virginia General Assembly website. The Governor’s proposed budget is available online at the Legislative Information System website.

Regional Legislative Priorities

The Regional Commission’s Legislative Committee has identified the top regional priorities for the General Assembly to consider for the 2026 legislative year.  Priorities include airport investments, energy infrastructure improvements, and industrial site development.
